Additionally, the crew of the Russian warship previously docked in Massawa engaged in cultural exchanges and a friendly football match with the Eritrean navy team.
Eritrea’s diplomatic support for Russia during the Ukraine conflict, demonstrated by voting against resolutions condemning the invasion, may add significance to these discussions.
