Brazilian singer Ayres Sasaki, 35, died after a freak accident during a concert in Pará, Brazil. According to Parade, Sasaki was performing at the Solar Hotel in Salinópolis on July 13 when a fan’s hug turned deadly.
The fan’s wet clothing caused an electric shock from a nearby cable, which proved fatal for Sasaki.
He died at the scene.
Local police are investigating the incident, speaking with witnesses to understand what happened.
The hotel where the accident occurred expressed deep regret on Instagram and is cooperating with authorities and Sasaki’s family.
