Donald Trump is about to reveal his choice for his Republican running mate within a few days.

This announcement will happen before the Republican party convention starts next Monday in Wisconsin, as stated by Jason Miller, a senior adviser to Trump, on Fox News.

There are several candidates who are considered likely choices, but there could also be some surprises.

JD Vance: A senator from Ohio who has been supportive of Trump and has a background in venture capitalism and writing. He is unsure if he wants to leave the Senate but hasn’t ruled out the vice-presidential role.

Doug Burgum: The governor of North Dakota, who has experience in business and has been vetted by Trump’s team. He is known for his calm approach and political knowledge.

Marco Rubio: The senator from Florida who has previously clashed with Trump but has now endorsed him. Rubio’s background as the son of Cuban immigrants and his appeal to Latino voters make him a notable contender.

Tim Scott: A senator from South Carolina and one of the prominent black Republicans, he has supported Trump enthusiastically after dropping out of the primary race.

Byron Donalds: A congressman from Florida known for promoting black conservatism. He has been suggested by Trump as a potential vice-president and has expressed interest in the role.

Elise Stefanik: A congresswoman from New York and a strong Trump supporter, she has gained attention for her stance on various issues and is being considered for the position.

Other names mentioned include Tulsi Gabbard, Kristi Noem, Ben Carson, Tom Cotton, Vivek Ramaswamy, Ron DeSantis, Nikki Haley, Katie Britt, Kari Lake, and Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

The final decision is expected soon, and it will be interesting to see who Trump picks.
