US and UK fighter jets have conducted airstrikes on 18 Houthi sites in Yemen, targeting storage facilities, drones, air defense systems, and radars.

This marks the fourth joint operation by the allies. The strikes aim to disrupt Houthi capabilities and protect global trade routes from threats posed by the militant group.

The Pentagon emphasizes the need to defend maritime vessels and ensure the free flow of commerce in critical waterways.

Other countries, including Australia, Bahrain, Canada, Denmark, the Netherlands, and New Zealand, have also supported these actions.

The airstrikes come in response to the Houthis’ attacks on commercial and naval vessels, posing a threat to regional stability and the global economy.
