Simone Biles just showed off a new hairstyle, surprising her fans. The Olympic gold medalist shared the news on Instagram on Monday, September 9, while also announcing her participation in the upcoming Gold Over America Tour.
Biles, along with other top gymnasts like Jade Carey and Jordan Chiles, will be performing this fall.
In her Instagram Story, Biles posted a selfie with the caption “I did a thing,” showing off her long dark hair with fresh blond highlights from the middle to the tips.
She paired her look with a silver necklace and a gray sweatshirt. Her hairstylist, Jazmine Johnson, shared the same picture, writing, “Yes ma’am!! A thing was done!!!”
This isn’t the first time Simone’s hair has caught attention. During the 2024 Olympics, she addressed her critics in a light-hearted Instagram video, telling them not to comment on her hair. “It was done, but the bus had no AC, and it was super hot,” she said, adding a bold message: “Next time you want to comment on a black girl’s hair, JUST DON’T.”
