South Africa’s President Cyril Ramaphosa is about to approve a new healthcare law called the National Health Insurance (NHI) bill.

This law aims to provide good healthcare to everyone in the country, no matter how rich or poor they are.

It was passed by lawmakers last year and will be rolled out gradually, costing a lot of money.

Some people, like opposition parties and civil society groups, think the law has problems and wanted it to be changed.

The president will sign the law on Wednesday in Pretoria, just before the national election.
