Justin Timberlake admitted it’s been a “tough week” after being charged with drunk driving.
He addressed fans at a Chicago concert, thanking them for their support.
Timberlake, 43, was arrested in New York for running a stop sign and driving erratically.
His lawyer plans to “vigorously defend” him.
Timberlake, who has spoken about past struggles with alcohol, performed poorly on sobriety tests and refused a breathalyzer.
He was released without bail and will appear in court on July 26. Timberlake is currently touring the US and will start the international leg next month. .
