The head of the International Monetary Fund, Kristalina Georgieva, shared with Reuters that they are seriously thinking about increasing Egypt’s $3 billion loan because of the economic challenges caused by the Israel-Hamas war.

She mentioned in an interview that the conflict is causing a lot of harm to the people and economy of Gaza and is also affecting the economy of the West Bank.

Additionally, it’s creating problems for nearby countries like Egypt, Lebanon, and Jordan, impacting tourism and increasing energy costs.
