Christian Oliver, a 51-year-old actor known for roles in films like Speed Racer and Valkyrie, tragically lost his life in a plane crash in the Caribbean on January 4, 2024.

The accident also claimed the lives of his two daughters, Madita (12) and Annik (10), as well as the pilot.

The heartbreaking news was shared by Jessica Klepser, Oliver’s wife, in an emotional statement posted on Wundabar Pilates’ Instagram page. The family was returning from a holiday when their single-engine plane encountered engine trouble, leading to a fatal crash into the ocean.

Madita, a vibrant 7th-grade student, excelled in academics, dance, singing, and performances. Annik, a 4th-grade student, was known for her gentle yet strong demeanor, with passions including basketball, swimming, and various forms of art.

The family emphasized the deep bond, infectious laughter, and adventurous spirit shared by the sisters, who will be profoundly missed in their communities.

Jessica Klepser, the surviving mother, resides in LA, and the girls leave behind grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins in Germany. Oliver, also known as Christian Klepser, had a successful career in Europe and the US, and his loss is deeply felt by those who knew him.

The family, currently asking for privacy, has set up a GoFundMe page to cover funeral services, legal expenses, and bring Oliver and his daughters home.

Despite speculation about Oliver and Klepser’s separation, the focus remains on honoring the memory of the beloved actor and his daughters during this difficult time.
