The United States has told Israel that their support during the Gaza conflict depends on Israel taking specific steps to help and protect civilians.

President Joe Biden talked to Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after seven workers from World Central Kitchen (WCK) were killed.

Biden emphasized the need for Israel to take action to prevent harm to civilians and aid workers. If Israel doesn’t make changes, the US might change its policy.

This comes as there’s growing criticism in the US over Israel’s actions in Gaza. Biden’s administration wants Israel to improve conditions in Gaza quickly.

This statement from the US represents a stronger stance against Israel than before, but it’s not clear yet how this might affect US-Israel relations, especially regarding weapon supplies.
