Ralph Lauren has been designing uniforms for Team USA since 2008, and for this summer’s Olympics in Paris, they’ve created new outfits inspired by the city’s vibrant energy and American spirit.
These uniforms include classic styles with a mix of preppy athleisure, all in red, white, and blue.
For the opening ceremony, Team USA will wear navy blazers with red and white details, striped shirts, and light denim jeans.
The closing ceremony outfit features white jeans, a racecar-style jacket with USA patches, and a striped polo.
Athletes like swimmer Katie Ledecky and BMX racer Kamren Larsen appreciate the stylish and patriotic designs.
Fencer Daryl Homer still cherishes pieces from his first Olympics, and gymnast Shilese Jones is excited to be a brand ambassador.
Ralph Lauren also created a “Villagewear” collection for athletes to wear in the Athletes’ Village, featuring classic pieces like jackets, sweaters, and joggers. This collection includes a 100% recycled polo shirt for the first time.
Sarah Hirshland, CEO of the US Olympic & Paralympic Committee, praised the designs for capturing American style and the pride of Team USA, uniting and inspiring both athletes and fans.
