Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez, aged 36, has joined the MLS team Inter Miami for the 2024 season. This move reunites him with former Barcelona teammates Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba. Suarez, who left Brazilian side Gremio as a free agent, expressed his excitement about reuniting with friends and players.

Inter Miami’s chief business officer called Suarez’s signing a “monumental moment” for the club. Suarez, known for his successful career, left Gremio due to a knee problem and travel challenges.

Inter Miami, co-owned by David Beckham, aims for success after signing Messi, Busquets, and Alba in 2023. Suarez is optimistic about winning titles with the club and brings his ambition to the team.

The quartet of Messi, Busquets, Alba, and Suarez previously achieved success at Barcelona, winning La Liga titles and prestigious trophies.
