Miss USA 2022, Morgan Romano, will be in attendance to pass the crown to her successor.
Tonight, the 72nd Miss USA Pageant will be on TV. There will be 51 women, one from each state and Washington, D.C., competing to become the new Miss USA. The winner will then represent the United States at the Miss Universe 2023 competition later in the year.
The event will happen at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. The current Miss USA, Morgan Romano from North Carolina, will be there to give the crown to the new winner.
Laylah Rose, who is the President and CEO of the Miss USA and Teen USA Organization, said that they’re excited to show viewers a new and up-to-date version of a 70-year-old tradition. They’re looking forward to the moment when this year’s winners are chosen and celebrated. Some people who really like the show “Wheel of Fortune” are talking about a contestant’s big mistake. They’re calling it an “Epic Fail”. They’re waiting eagerly for the chance to show people a fresh and modern way of doing something that’s been happening for a long time. They’re also excited about the time when the winners for this year will be announced and celebrated.

Miss USA 2022 Morgan Romano is an alumna of the University of South Carolina, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering in 2020. She is an Application Engineer at R.E. Mason in Charlotte, NC. She has a passion for STEM education for children and spends her free time volunteering with Project Scientist, an after-school program that provides a high-quality STEM curriculum to young girls.
