King Charles III has unveiled his first official portrait as king, now displayed at Buckingham Palace.

The painting, commissioned in 2020, depicts him in the uniform of the Welsh Guards.

Artist Jonathan Yeo emphasized capturing Charles’ life experiences and humanity.

The reveal follows a troubling health update where Charles shared his experience of losing his sense of taste due to cancer treatment.

Despite this, he has resumed his royal duties, recently visiting cancer patients with Queen Camilla.
