Balmoral Castle, the iconic Scottish estate, is undergoing a significant change as King Charles III opens its doors to the public for the first time in history.
Visitors will get an exclusive glimpse inside the castle, including the rooms currently used by King Charles and Queen Camilla.
This rare opportunity offers a “historical journey” through the castle’s origins, dating back to its purchase by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in 1855.
Guests can immerse themselves in the castle’s rich history and enjoy an afternoon tea in the newly renovated restaurant. However, these experiences come at a cost, with tickets for the guided tour and tea session priced at over $125 per person.
Despite the high demand, this marks an unprecedented move towards sharing the royal heritage with the public.
