Zimbabwean traders like Sylvia Dhliwayo are frustrated by the government’s sudden introduction of a new currency called the Zig.

This move has caused confusion and uncertainty among citizens who have already experienced numerous currency changes in the past.

Despite the government’s efforts to stabilize the economy, many people still prefer using US dollars due to a lack of confidence in the Zig.

The situation reflects the ongoing economic challenges faced by Zimbabweans, with some even jokingly referring to the country’s economy as a “zigzag” due to its unpredictable nature.
