Hezbollah Chief Warns Retribution for Hamas Leader’s Death
Hezbollah leader Hasan Nasrallah has declared that the killing of Saleh al-Arouri, Hamas’s deputy leader, will not go unpunished.
Arouri died in a drone attack in Beirut, but Israel has not confirmed responsibility. Nasrallah called it a major crime and warned that if Israel starts a war on Lebanon, Hezbollah’s response will have no limits.
Tensions between Hezbollah and Israel have escalated in recent months.
The situation is concerning to the UN, the US, and Lebanon, fearing a broader conflict. Arouri, a key Hamas figure, had connections between Hamas and Hezbollah.
The US, Israel, and the UK consider both Hezbollah and Hamas as terrorist organizations.
