Florida Woman Pleads Not Guilty in Alleged Murder Plot Against Ex-Son-in-Law Amid Jail Treatment Claims

Donna Adelson, 73, accused of plotting her former son-in-law’s murder, entered a not guilty plea while raising concerns about inhumane treatment in jail.

Her lawyer claims jail staff subjected her to harsh conditions, including being naked, eating with hands, and withholding medication.

The judge ruled for private meetings with her lawyer but denied access to a third-party psychologist. Adelson was arrested with her husband en route to Vietnam.

She faces charges of first-degree murder, conspiracy, and solicitation in the alleged murder-for-hire of a Florida State University law professor, her ex-son-in-law.

Her son was recently convicted in the same case. Source: CNN.
