An Indian farm worker in Italy died after a workplace accident left him severely injured.
The employer allegedly abandoned him and his wife by the roadside after loading them into a van.
Medical help arrived late, and despite efforts, he succumbed to his injuries days later in a Rome hospital.
The incident has sparked outrage and calls for action against exploitative labor practices in Italy’s agriculture sector, where many migrant workers endure unsafe conditions and low pay.
