An art project linking Dublin and New York through a live video “portal” was temporarily closed due to misconduct.
Users displayed offensive content, including swearwords and inappropriate images, prompting organizers to shut it down.
Measures are being taken to prevent further incidents, such as software updates and increased supervision.
Despite this, most visitors have appreciated the project’s aim of connecting people, with only a small minority causing problems.
Originally planned to run until autumn, the project’s future is now uncertain.
