Democrats have found a way to ensure Joe Biden’s name appears on Ohio’s general election ballot despite partisan disagreements.
Ohio’s Republicans raised concerns about ballot access laws conflicting with the timing of the Democratic National Convention where Biden will be nominated.
To bypass this, Democrats plan to virtually nominate Biden ahead of the convention, ensuring his presence on the ballot.
This move highlights the increasing polarization in Ohio, once a swing state, and echoes previous disputes over ballot access, such as the recent controversy surrounding Donald Trump’s candidacy in other states.
