Willie Nelson’s Health Update After Show Cancellation
Willie Nelson, the 91-year-old country music star, is currently touring with the Outlaw Music Festival. However, his team recently announced that Nelson had to cancel a show in Alpharetta, Georgia, on June 21 due to health issues. They shared on social media that doctors have advised him to rest for four days.
Despite the cancellation, Nelson is expected to recover quickly and rejoin the tour next week. In the meantime, Lukas Nelson and the Family Band, along with special guests, will perform his classic songs. Other artists on the tour, like Bob Dylan and Alison Krauss, will perform as planned.
Fans have been sending their well wishes to Nelson, hoping for his speedy recovery. The illness will cause Nelson to miss upcoming shows in North Carolina and Virginia, but he may return for a performance in Syracuse, New York, on June 28.
