The outage affected people worldwide, not just in the UK. WhatsApp had the most issues, with Instagram and Facebook also having problems.
Meta hasn’t commented on the situation yet. This isn’t the first time something like this has happened – just last month, Facebook and Instagram had a global outage for more than two hours.
