Vinted Drops New Delivery Changes After User Backlash

The second-hand clothes app Vinted has scrapped recent updates to its delivery options following a wave of complaints from users.

The app is well-liked for letting sellers choose from various delivery methods, including options that suit those without access to a printer.

Recently, users noticed that the list of shipping options had vanished from their profiles, leading to frustration on social media. Vinted responded to this backlash by reverting the shipping settings to their previous state.

One user, Olivia Lott from rural Devon, found the change particularly inconvenient because she couldn’t select a delivery method that required a 30-minute drive.

Another user, Kerry, had to cancel multiple orders due to the issue, losing out on £60 worth of sales. Theodora Philcox expressed concern that the change might ruin the platform if not quickly fixed.

Some users, like Abbie from Yorkshire, struggled because local drop-off points for certain couriers were unavailable in her area, making it difficult to send packages.

Vinted explained that the update was a trial and that the shipping options have now been restored based on user feedback.

They stated, “We regularly test and trial different things to evolve Vinted” and assured users that no further action was needed on their part.
