Tropical Storm Hilary has now reached Southern California. This has led to heavy rainfall in various areas and raised worries about strong flooding and possibly damaging winds in the region.

Hilary previously traveled across Mexico’s Baja California peninsula on Sunday. As predicted, it was weakened to a tropical storm with winds at 70 mph. Around 11 a.m., Hilary officially hit the northern part of the Baja California Peninsula in Mexico as a tropical storm.
