On Sunday, a church in northern Mexico had its roof fall down. This caused a lot of harm. Eleven people lost their lives, and two were very badly hurt. There were about 100 people inside the church when this happened. They believe around 30 people might be stuck under the broken parts. Many others, about 60, got hurt, and two of them are in really bad shape. Different groups like the National Guard, State Guard, and others are working together to help and save people from this accident.
The church’s leader, Bishop Jose Armando Alvarez, said that the roof fell down while people were having a special moment of prayer. He asked everyone in the community to pray for the people who are still stuck in the broken parts. He also mentioned that they are doing everything they can to rescue those trapped under the rubble.
