“Like father, like son.”
“Tiger Woods and his son make a great team!
Tiger’s 14-year-old son, Charlie Axel Woods, is doing really well in golf, just like his famous dad. On September 24th, Charlie showed off his amazing talent by getting into the Notah Begay III National Championship. He won in the second round of the 14–15 age group in the Last Chance Regional. And guess what? His dad was there, helping him out as his caddy and cheering him on!”
“If you don’t know, a caddy is the person who helps a player by carrying their bag with clubs or discs. They also give the player advice and support during the game.”
After winning with a score of 66, the teenager talked about what it’s like to have his dad there with him. Charlie said, “We just focus on our game together.” He also said that his father helps him stay grounded. “We just think about one shot at a time; he reminds me of what’s important,” he said. Charlie mentioned how his dad helps him concentrate on what he’s doing and not get too far ahead of himself.
The special moment of the father-son team was captured on Instagram. Other people in the golf community were really excited about it. Shane Croft, whose son Chase also played on Sunday, called the experience “amazing.” He was thrilled to be a caddy with Tiger.
Charlie’s dad is really famous, and many people think he’s one of the best golfers ever. Right now, he’s tied with Sam Snead for the most wins in PGA Tour history.
Seeing how well Charlie is doing, it seems like he’s going to be just as amazing as his dad at golf!
