He says Meghan has changed a lot and is not the same person he knew before.
“Recently, on ‘Good Morning Britain,’ Thomas Markle said his daughter Meghan and Prince Harry are keeping his grandchildren away from him for no good reason. He’s really sad about it because he believes it’s not fair to keep a grandparent from seeing their grandchild. He also mentioned that he hasn’t done anything wrong and that he loves his daughter a lot. He thinks there’s no good reason for them to treat him like this, and they’re also not letting the kids see their grandfather, King Charles.
Harry and Meghan have two kids, Archie and Lillibet. So far, it seems like the kids haven’t met their mom’s dad at all.
“Thomas also said that he thinks his daughter has become different. He said, ‘She’s not the person I knew as my daughter.’ When asked if he thinks Harry is the reason for this change, he’s not completely sure. But he thinks that maybe Meghan has more of an impact on Harry than he has on her.
Meghan and her dad had a big argument in 2018 before her wedding to Prince Harry. Her dad took fake pictures with the paparazzi, which he initially denied but later admitted.
He had a heart attack just before the wedding, so Prince Charles ended up walking Meghan down the aisle instead.
“Meghan later talked about what happened with her dad. She told Oprah, ‘I tried my best to keep both of them safe during all that media chaos…the newspapers…they came really close to him, even moved into the apartment next door and across from him in that small town, and gave him presents…all of this led to where we are now.
