A ring on Heather Milligan’s finger sparked speculation.
Are Arnold Schwarzenegger and Heather Milligan engaged? That has been the question on folks’ minds ever since the girlfriend of bodybuilder-turned-actor-turned-politician was spotted wearing a sizable ring.
According to people close to them, Schwarzenegger and Milligan are not planning to get married at the moment, as per TMZ. But, on Tuesday, October 24, when they were seen together in London, some rumors began because Milligan had a ring on her wedding finger, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Schwarzenegger and Milligan started dating in 2013, after the actor separated from his wife, Maria Shriver, whom he had been married to for 25 years. This separation happened after he revealed he had a child with their housekeeper. In 2021, Schwarzenegger and Shriver’s divorce was finalized.
Schwarzenegger, who is 76 years old, shared in September that he and his girlfriend, who is 48, have a lot in common. He thinks very highly of her. He loves that she’s dedicated to her work and is independent. She’s incredibly determined.
Milligan is a physical therapist who has her own company called Elite OrthoSport in Los Angeles. This is where Schwarzenegger and she first met. Back in 2012, she helped Schwarzenegger recover after he had shoulder surgery, and this was recommended by his surgeon.
Schwarzenegger explained, “The surgeon said, ‘There’s only one person, it’s Heather. I always send athletes to her because she’s the only one who really knows what they’re talking about.’ So I went to her. After my therapy was done and after I finished the movie, I called her again and invited her out for lunch to thank her. And then, one thing led to another.”
Recently, Schwarzenegger and Milligan have been going on trips to promote Schwarzenegger’s new book, “Be Useful: Seven Tools for Life”. While they’re not planning to get engaged right now, we’ll let you know if that changes in the future!
