Parties in Northern Ireland are boosting spending on Facebook and Instagram ads as the election nears.

Here’s what the top five parties spent from June 23 to June 29, according to Meta: Sinn Féin Ireland €14,316, Alliance Party £6,091, DUP £3,155, SDLP £0 (plus £1,405 from Colum Eastwood’s account), and UUP £2,752.

Ads must include disclaimers about funding sources and are targeted to specific demographics.

This final push aims to sway undecided voters before polling day, leveraging digital platforms heavily in the absence of traditional media coverage.
