NFL player Caleb Farley’s father died in a big explosion at Caleb’s home in North Carolina. This happened on Tuesday. The explosion destroyed the expensive house. The football player was not there when it happened.

The investigators think that the explosion might have been caused by the natural gas pipes in the house. They don’t think anyone did anything wrong on purpose.

A friend named Christian Rogers was also at the house. He got hurt but will be okay. The big house by the lake, which was around 6,300 square feet, got completely destroyed. All the cars parked outside got ruined too.

Caleb Farley, who plays for the Tennessee Titans, was seen talking to the people in charge after the explosion.

People who lived nearby said they smelled gas and heard a loud boom. This happened around midnight.

Caleb Farley grew up not far from here and played football at Virginia Tech. He got chosen as a professional player in 2021.

The coach of the Titans, Mike Vrabel, had the team pray for Caleb and his family. Caleb has faced tough times before, like losing his mom to cancer in 2018.

Caleb’s teammate, Kevin Byard, said that Caleb has gone through a lot and this is a very sad and shocking event.
