Journalists Warned Against Taking Souvenirs from Air Force One
Reportedly, journalists have been cautioned against pilfering souvenirs from US President Joe Biden’s official aircraft, Air Force One.
Items such as branded pillowcases, glasses, and gold-rimmed plates have allegedly gone missing from the press section following Mr. Biden’s visit to the US west coast in February.
The White House Correspondents’ Association has reminded reporters that taking items from the plane is prohibited, stating that such actions reflect poorly on the press pool.
While journalists are sometimes given small packages of M&Ms chocolates adorned with the presidential seal as a souvenir, it’s reported that taking items with the Air Force One logo, including cutlery and towels, has been commonplace for years.
Despite this, journalists have been urged to refrain from such actions.
