Israel has reportedly finished breaking down the leadership of Hamas in the northern Gaza Strip, according to the Israeli army.

They claim that around 8,000 militants have been killed in that area. Now, the focus is on dismantling Hamas in the south and central parts of Gaza.

The conflict has resulted in over 22,000 casualties, as per the Hamas-run health ministry, and has caused extensive damage with many people displaced.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that their campaign will continue until Hamas is eliminated.

In response to the killing of a top Hamas official in Beirut, Hezbollah launched rockets at northern Israel.

The U.S. Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, expressed concerns about preventing the escalation of the Gaza conflict.
