Colombia’s football federation chief, Ramón Jesurún, and his son were arrested following a fight at the Copa América final in Miami.

They face charges related to a brawl that erupted after Colombia lost to Argentina.

According to the Miami-Dade Police Department, the incident occurred as they were leaving the stadium, and they allegedly became aggressive towards a security officer.

Ramón Jesurún pushed the officer, while his son grabbed and assaulted him, as well as another female official who tried to intervene.

They are also accused of assaulting a security manager.

The incident happened amidst chaotic scenes at the stadium, where ticketless fans caused delays and clashes with police before the match.
