Two U.S. election workers, Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, who won a $140 million defamation lawsuit against Rudy Giuliani, are now pushing to seize some of his belongings. They’ve asked a court to take his New York and Florida condos, along with several luxury watches, a Mercedes-Benz, and other items within a week.

Giuliani, who falsely accused Freeman and Moss of election tampering in 2020, is facing more legal trouble after a judge threw out his bankruptcy case, leaving him exposed to his creditors. The workers want three of Giuliani’s New York Yankees World Series rings, one valued around $30,000.

Freeman and Moss’s lawyers have accused Giuliani of avoiding legal responsibilities and obstructing the process. Giuliani, who is appealing the defamation verdict, claims that the efforts to seize his assets are meant to harass him.

In December, a jury found Giuliani liable for defamation and ordered him to pay damages for the emotional distress caused to Freeman and Moss.

Giuliani, previously a high-profile lawyer and former New York City mayor, also faces additional legal issues, including charges related to an alleged scheme to overturn the 2020 election results.

The latest moves by Freeman and Moss highlight their continued pursuit of justice against Giuliani’s false claims.
