Ex-NFL player D.J. Hayden, 33, passed away in a car crash in Houston. He was a first-round pick for the Oakland Raiders and played in the NFL for nine seasons. The accident happened around 2 a.m. on Saturday when a Chrysler 300 ran a red light, hitting an Acura SUV. Four people, including someone who seemed homeless, were declared dead at the crash site, and two more passed away later in the hospital.

Zach McMillan, a former University of Houston cornerback aged 32, and Ralph Oragwu, an offensive lineman, were among the people who passed away, as per the Chronicle’s report.

As per a press briefing, a woman and a man survived the crash and are in the hospital with serious injuries.
