Travis Snyder, the creator of The Color Run, a popular colorful 5K race, passed away at the age of 45 after battling acute myeloid leukemia since 2015.

He shared the news of his death on Instagram, expressing his desire not to be remembered as someone who “lost a fight with cancer” but as a “warrior” who lived and battled for eight years after the diagnosis.

In his message, Snyder urged people to sign up for bone marrow registries, a cause he actively supported. In 2022, he collaborated with Jason Momoa to encourage registration with the Be the Match Registry.

Snyder is survived by his wife, Heidi, and their three sons – Hank, Miles, and Luke. Let’s remember him not only as the founder of The Color Run but as a warrior who faced life’s challenges with courage. (Credit: Parade)
