Britney Spears recently shared a message on her Instagram about her divorce from her husband Sam Asghari. She posted a video of herself dancing energetically in a green bikini bottom and black crop top. In the post, she confirmed that she and Sam Asghari are no longer a couple. She mentioned that being together for six years was a long time and she’s a bit surprised by the situation. She didn’t go into details about why they split, saying it’s private. She also shared that she couldn’t handle the emotional pain anymore.
In her recent message, Spears also thanked everyone who has shown concern and sent kind messages. She admitted that she has been acting strong for a long time, and even though her Instagram looks perfect, it doesn’t show the real truth. She mentioned that she wants to be able to express her true feelings and tears openly, but for some reason, she has always had to keep her vulnerabilities hidden.
She talked about her difficult relationship with her father, Jamie Spears, who was in charge of her conservatorship. The conservatorship lasted for more than ten years and ended in November 2021.
She said that love should be given without any conditions. She ended by saying she’ll stay strong and do her best. She mentioned that she’s actually doing quite well. She wished everyone a good day and told them to remember to smile.
This is the first time Spears has officially talked about her split from Asghari. The model also shared his thoughts on August 17, which is the same day it was confirmed that he had asked for a divorce.
He wrote on his Instagram Story that after being together for six years and loving and supporting each other, he and Spears have chosen to stop being together.
He said, “We’ll keep the love and respect we have for each other, and I want only the best for her forever.”
Talking about his relationship with his wife, Asghari mentioned, “Bad things happen. It’s silly to ask for privacy, so I’ll just request everyone, including the media, to be nice and considerate.”
They apparently broke up in July, but news about their separation didn’t become widely known until August.
In June 2022, Spears got married to her third husband, Asghari. The wedding was small and private, and famous people like Madonna, Selena Gomez, Paris Hilton, and Drew Barrymore were there.
Before that, she was married two times. The first time, she married her childhood friend Jason Alexander, but they quickly annulled the marriage after just 55 hours in Las Vegas in 2004. The second time, she married a dancer named Kevin Federline. He is the father of her two sons, Jayden (who is 16 years old) and Sean Preston (who is 17 years old).
