Biden and Trump have agreed to two televised debates in June and September.
The first will be hosted by CNN in Georgia with no live audience, and the second by ABC.
This comes after Biden proposed the debates, breaking tradition by bypassing the presidential debate commission and suggesting no live audience.
The move aims to give both candidates more time to recover from any poor performance and could lower the debates’ impact on the election outcome.
