Actor Billy Miller has passed away at the age of 43.
He died on Friday, September 15, just two days before his 44th birthday. The news of his death was first announced by soap opera journalist Michael Fairman.
A family member also confirmed Billy Miller’s passing in a Facebook post on Sunday, September 17, saying, “It’s sad news that’s hard to share, but I got a call yesterday informing me that my cousin Billy Miller has passed away. He was my second cousin and the son of my first cousin Pat, whom I deeply love. My heart goes out to her, Billy’s sister Megan, and everyone who loved him. I’m sharing this in memory of Billy and because I know that some of you were his fans.
His cause of death currently remains unknown.
Billy Miller was born on September 17, 1979, in Grand Prairie, Texas. He grew up there and then went to the University of Texas at Austin for college. In 2006, he got his first TV role as Will Graham in CSI: NY. Later, he played Richie Novak in All My Children from 2007 to 2008. After that, he became a regular on The Young and the Restless from 2008 to 2014, where he played the character Billy Abbott. He did really well in this role and won three Daytime Emmys: two for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series and one for Best Lead Actor in a Drama Series. He also took on the role of John Delario in Ringer from 2011 to 2012.
After leaving The Young and the Restless in 2014, he took on roles in General Hospital, where he played characters like Drew Cain, Jason Morgan, and Jake Doe. He was also in the TV show Suits with Meghan Markle from 2015 to 2019. Additionally, he appeared in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in 2014, Ray Donovan in 2017, and Truth Be Told from 2019 to 2021. He was part of other projects as well, like the movie American Sniper in 2014, Fatal Honeymoon in 2012, and Bad Blood in 2015.
Even though he was a famous actor, he also owned a company called 4M. This company built and ran bars in the South Bay, California.
