Fugitive financier Jho Low has agreed with the US Justice Department to return over $100 million allegedly stolen from Malaysia’s state-owned fund, 1MDB.

The assets, including artworks by Andy Warhol and Claude Monet and a luxury Paris apartment, will be liquidated, with $67 million in cash and property to be returned to Malaysia.

Low, wanted for his role in the scandal, remains at large. This agreement adds to the $1.4 billion previously returned and aims to recover a total of $4.5 billion allegedly misappropriated from 1MDB.
