One of Hollywood’s emerging talents has tragically passed away.

On July 31, TMZ released a report stating that Angus Cloud, renowned for portraying Fezco on HBO’s Euphoria, has passed away at the age of 25. The actor, whose birth name was Conor Angus Cloud Hickey, reportedly died at his family residence in Oakland, Calif. His family confirmed the heartbreaking news through a statement, expressing their profound sorrow and emphasizing Angus’ significance as an artist, friend, brother, and son. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

As the update continued, it was disclosed that the young artist had been facing a difficult personal tragedy.

“The recent past saw him laying his father to rest, and he grappled profoundly with this profound loss,” the announcement elaborated. “We find solace in the thought that Angus is now reunited with his father, who was his closest companion. Angus had been candid about his struggles with mental well-being, and we wish that his passing can serve as a message to others that they are not alone and should not suffer in silence, but rather seek support.”

After Cloud’s passing, his family emphasized that they wish him to be remembered for his delightful humor, infectious laughter, and unconditional love for all. They also requested privacy as they cope with the profound grief.

Cloud initially made his on-screen acting appearance in the Zendaya-led HBO drama. When he was discovered on the streets to portray the beloved drug dealer with a compassionate nature, he shared with GQ in 2019 that he felt perplexed and skeptical, thinking it might be a fraudulent offer.

sizing the mental strain it imposed on him. Unlike physically demanding roles, he highlighted the need to maintain constant focus and dedication without the luxury of taking a day off due to illness. Acting, he explained, had a way of depleting his energy, even when he appeared to be sitting still and performing.

In addition to his role in Euphoria, Cloud showcased his acting talents in other projects such as the 2021 film North Hollywood and the 2023 film The Line. Notably, he was also involved in an upcoming project, described as the “Untitled Monster Thriller for Universal Pictures Project” on his IMDB page, which was in the filming stage.
