Celebrating her husband’s 62nd birthday, the former first lady expressed her affectionate feelings towards former President Obama by referring to him as her “thoughtful guy.” She encouraged supporters to send positive messages and make donations focused on community efforts to his inbox. Using the platform formerly known as Twitter, she shared these warmhearted sentiments on Friday.

Sending warm birthday wishes to my favorite thoughtful individual,” expressed Obama in a social media post. “Always with love, @BarackObama,” she added, accompanied by a snapshot of the former president in a reflective pose.

In a birthday-themed email, Michelle Obama encouraged supporters of the Obama Foundation to either compose “a heartfelt message to Barack about your community-driven efforts” or contribute to the foundation’s mission. She emphasized the significance of participation in celebrating Barack’s birthday, inviting individuals to leave a note or contribute to empower future leaders and the forthcoming Obama Presidential Center, set to debut in Chicago in 2025.

Joining in on Barack’s birthday festivities would hold great significance for him, therefore, kindly consider leaving a note or crafting a present today,” remarked Obama in the email.

The Obamas officially became married in the year 1992.

President Biden and his bid for re-election in 2024 also participated in the birthday celebration.

The 46th President, who currently holds office, marked Obama’s significant day by sharing a joyful photograph of the two leaders. In his post on X platform, he conveyed warm birthday wishes to his close friend and comrade, @BarackObama.

Furthermore, as part of Biden’s campaign efforts, an email was sent out with a fundraising request, bearing Obama’s endorsement. The email conveyed that it also happened to be Obama’s birthday and expressed a desire to commemorate the occasion by supporting the reelection of Joe and Kamala. Supporters were encouraged to contribute a minimum of $25, with the chance to participate in a contest for an opportunity to meet both the present and former presidents.
