Deposed Gabon President Ali Bongo and his sons start hunger strike, alleging torture and mistreatment.

Following a military coup, Bongo, along with his family members, faced confinement and legal action.

Their lawyers claim Bongo’s son was subjected to severe torture, while his wife endured abuse.

Authorities in Gabon have yet to respond to these accusations.

Bongo, who ruled Gabon for over a decade, succeeded his father in 2009.

The family has filed a complaint with the Paris court, coinciding with the upcoming visit of Gabon’s junta leader to France.
