Good news: Cheese isn’t bad for your heart! It can actually be part of a healthy diet.

According to Dr. Cheng-Han Chen, a heart specialist, mozzarella cheese is a great choice.

It’s low in saturated fat and sodium but high in protein and calcium, which are good for your bones and muscles.

However, be careful to choose mozzarella with low sodium. Processed cheeses like American cheese are high in unhealthy fats and sodium, so it’s best to limit them.

Instead, try getting your protein from lean meats and calcium from foods like yogurt, beans, and leafy greens.

Remember, when picking foods for a healthy heart, go for ones high in fiber, low in saturated fat, and low in sodium.
