Kim Jong Un, the leader of North Korea, has promised Vladimir Putin, the leader of Russia, that his country will give its full and unconditional support to Russia in their important fight to protect their security interests. Kim also stated that North Korea will always stand alongside Russia in their efforts against imperialism.
This statement was made during a meeting between the two leaders at the Vostochny Cosmodrome space centre in Russia’s far-eastern Amur region. Experts suggest that Russia is interested in obtaining artillery shells from North Korea for use in Ukraine, while North Korea is in need of essential supplies like food, fuel, and advanced military technology.

The United States has issued a warning, stating that any agreements involving weapons between North Korea and Russia would go against resolutions from the United Nations Security Council. This could result in further sanctions being imposed on both countries.
During their meeting, Kim Jong Un, speaking through a translator, expressed his confidence in the Russian army and people, believing that they would overcome the forces of evil. Kim was situated in Russia’s Far East region, amidst reports from Western intelligence agencies that Moscow is seeking to acquire weapons and ammunition from North Korea for use in their military operations in Ukraine.
As of now, neither the Kremlin nor North Korea have confirmed whether any arms deal has been finalized
