At Least Five Killed in Israeli Air Strike on Beirut Building Linked to Hezbollah
At least five people were killed, and eight were injured in an Israeli air strike on a building in central Beirut, according to Lebanese officials.

The building housed a health center connected to Hezbollah, which Israel targeted in a precise attack. This was the first Israeli strike close to Beirut’s center, just near Lebanon’s parliament.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched more air strikes in Beirut’s southern suburb, Dahieh, overnight, where Hezbollah has a strong presence.

The air strikes followed heavy fighting in southern Lebanon between Israeli soldiers and Hezbollah fighters.

Hezbollah claimed it destroyed Israeli tanks, while Israel said it killed several Hezbollah fighters. In total, Israeli air strikes have killed more than 1,200 people across Lebanon, including civilians, as per Lebanese reports.

Additionally, Hezbollah has been weakened by the attacks, but it continues to fight back.
