16 People Went to the Hospital After a Snoop Dogg Concert on Saturday.

The concert happened on August 19, near Houston, Texas, at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.

A person who shares information from the Montgomery County Hospital District said on Monday, August 21, that a total of 35 people had signs of getting sick because of the heat during the concert. Doctors looked at them at the place where the concert was.

16 adults had to go to the hospital after Snoop Dogg’s concert near Houston. The MCHD EMS took them to nearby hospitals, and they are okay.

The outdoor theater in the Woodlands area of the southern state was really hot that day, with temperatures over 100 degrees. This made it more likely for people to get heatstroke, and there were strong warnings about the heat and the risk of fires.

A Red Flag Warning happens when it’s hot, not very humid, and windy. This makes the risk of fires higher,” says the National Weather Service.

The Atascocita Fire Department posted on X (formerly Twitter) that they were going to the Woodlands Pavilion to help people who got too hot at the @SnoopDogg concert. They’re also sending their special ambulance bus to help a lot of people in case of emergencies.

We’re here to support you, Snoop!” the fire department said back then.

They said that they took safety steps in case more people needed medical help. “This is something people often do and it works well when done early,” explained Jerry Dilliard, who speaks for the Atascocita Fire Department, to the news.

Dilliard later said that the special medical bus from Atascocita wasn’t necessary and left after about an hour. He praised MCHD for handling the patients well.

Likewise, at Ed Sheeran’s recent show in Pittsburgh, 17 people had to go to the hospital, mostly because of problems from being too hot. This kind of health problem was predicted because experts think we’re having one of the hottest summers ever on Earth.

During the season, the temperatures went up a lot. On Thursday, July 6, the Earth got really hot, reaching an average of 63 degrees Fahrenheit. This is higher than the old record of 62.9 degrees. This information comes from the University of Maine’s Climate Reanalyzer, which uses satellite data and computer models to track the Earth’s condition.

Scientists are saying that the Earth is now the hottest it has been in about 125,000 years.
