The 26-year-old American dazzled the Chicago audience with a remarkable performance, securing victory at the US Classic, her first competition since the Tokyo Olympics. After taking a break in 2021 to prioritize her mental well-being, Biles expressed gratitude for the unwavering support from fans and acknowledged her ongoing therapy. She received an enthusiastic welcome at the Now Arena in Illinois and clinched the win with an impressive all-around score of 59.100 points. Biles highlighted her improved mental and physical state, acknowledging that while there’s still room for improvement, she’s pleased with her return to competition.

Her floor exercise was met with cheers for each tumbling run, earning her a high score of 14.900. Biles capped off her performance with an impressive vault, achieving a leading score of 15.400. Leanne Wong secured second place with 54.100 points, followed closely by Joscelyn Roberson with 54.050 points.
